Use a measuring tape for maximum accuracy (flexible tape, if possible).

Make sure the measuring tape is positioned to where your hat will be wore and neither too tight nor loose.

Measure on bare skin / over hair similiar to how you would wear your hat.

Compare your head measurements to those on our size chart, and choose the size closest to yours.

How to measure

To choose the right size, follow the steps below:

Use a measuring tape for maximum accuracy (flexible tape, if possible).

Measure your chest

Wrap the measuring tape around the fullest part of your chest, just under the arms and across the shoulder blades. Keep it horizontal and snug, but not tight.

Measure your waist

Find the narrowest part of your torso, just above the belly button. Wrap the tape around your waist comfortably, leaving space for one finger.

Compare your chest and waist measurements to those on our size chart, and select the size that most closely matches your measurements for the best fit.

I was looking for a new hat to workout in, whether that’s running a few miles or hitting weights, and the cruiser hat is perfect for it all. I get drenched in sweat when I workout and this hat takes it like a champ and air dries super fast. It’s extremely light weight and breathable making it feel like nothings even on my head. I already ordered my next hat and can’t wait for it to come. I’m probably a lifer with Alter Ego now.
